WTAR is a Talk/Sports formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Norfolk, Virginia, serving Hampton Roads.[2] WTAR is owned and operated by Sinclair Communications.[3]

History

On July 6, 1934, WTAR dropped its affiliation with CBS and became an affiliate of NBC. At that time, the station was owned and operated by the Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch and Virginian-Pilot.[4]
