Fenclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug previously used in rheumatism. It has mild immunosuppressive effects[1] and may displace thyroid hormone from its binding protein.[2][3] It can also cause lichen planus.[4]

Due to its side effects it was withdrawn from the UK and US in the 1980s.
