Basic is a brand of cigarettes manufactured by Philip Morris, a division of Altria Group.

As of 2005^[update], Basic is the fourth most popular cigarette brand in the United States (following Marlboro, Newport, and Camel)^[1] and the second most popular among white smokers age 26 and older.^[2]
