The varied nature of the companies that make up BGC mean that the company is largely self-sufficient, able to carry out building projects without needing to purchase materials or labour from other companies. They were the largest home builders in Australia for six straight years,[4] through their subsidiary companies including National Homes, Designer Homes, JCP Construction, Impressions the Home Builder, Commodore Homes, Perceptions The Two-Storey Builder, Stratawise, HomeStart, WA Housing Centre and BGC Modular.
