Cameron Carter-Vickers (born December 31, 1997) is an American soccer player who plays as a center back for Tottenham Hotspur U21 and the United States Under 23 team.

Club career
Carter-Vickers joined the academy system at Tottenham Hotspur at the age of eleven having caught the eyes of scouts as a ten-year-old.[1]
Under manager Mauricio Pochettino, Cameron Carter-Vickers made his first matchday squad against Ligue 1 team AS Monaco[2] in the Europa League.[3]
International career
In the summer of 2014 Carter-Vickers was playing for Tottenham’s academy side at the IMG Cup in Bradenton, Florida where they beat the US U17 team 5-3. During the game he caught the eye of US coaches who had learned of his possible eligibility for a US passport.[4][1] Carter-Vickers remains eligible for England, but has not received a call up at any level from his native country.[4]
Carter-Vickers represented the US for the first time at U18 level in August 2014 and by October 2014 was a member of the US U23 team.[5] He represented the United States U-20 National Team at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and started several games despite being only 17 at the time. The team were knocked out by Serbia in the quarter finals.[6][7]
Personal life
Carter-Vickers is the son of former basketball player Howard Carter.[8] He grew up in Southend, England, with his mother.[1]

Carter-Vickers is sponsored by American sportswear company Under Armour and featured for them in the "Slay Your Next Giant" commercial campaign on November 26, 2015[9]
