Castell'Alfero is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) east of Turin and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,736 and an area of 20.0 square kilometres (7.7 sq mi).[1]

The municipality of Castell'Alfero contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Callianetto, Stazione, Casotto, Serra Perno, Noveiva, Moncucco, and Bricco Beretta.

Castell'Alfero borders the following municipalities: Asti, Calliano, Corsione, Cossombrato, Frinco, Tonco, and Villa San Secondo.
