Playing career 2007–2012

Chase Watson (born October 23, 1982) is an American ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Reading Royals in the ECHL. In 2013 Chase started playing coed softball for Devine Brothers (formerly GMH) in the Chester County Coed Softball League. In the 2014 Playoffs Chase lead the league in batting and slugging percentage as well as RBI's, earning him Playoff MVP. Devine Brothers won the Championship in 2014. His sister, Caitlin also played on the team.

Playing career

Prior to turning professional, Watson attended Providence College where he played four seasons of NCAA Division I college hockey with the Providence Friars men's ice hockey team.

On December 11, 2011, the Reading Royals of the ECHL signed Watson to an ECHL contract.[1]

Family

He is the son of former Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Jimmy Watson and the nephew of former Flyers defenseman Joe Watson. His brother Brett Watson played two professional games with the Wheeling Nailers.[2]
