Davies Phiri (born 1 April 1976 in Mufulira) is a Zambian football (soccer) goalkeeper who is currently goalkeeper coach for Zambia live in South Africa. He previously played for Durban Stars, Golden Arrows and Kabwe Warriors.

He was part of the Zambian 2000 African Nations Cup team, who finished third in group C in the first round of competition, thus failing to secure qualification for the quarter-finals.

Former Zambia first choice goalkeeper, Davies Phiri has been drafted into the Chipolopolo technical team to help prepare the squad for the Orange African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.

Meanwhile, Israel-based duo of Justin Zulu and Roger Kola will only join the Chipolopolo at their South African training camp on 8 January due to club commitments. [1]
