Dawn Sowell

Dawn Sowell (27 March 1966, Philadelphia) is an American sprinter who ran the fastest times in the 100 m and 200 m in 1989.

Sowell attended Louisiana State University and she was tipped to be the next Florence Griffith-Joyner. She retired from track & field due to chronic injury problems and is now a public speaker, focusing on health and wellness.
