Football Club Rozova Dolina (Bulgarian: Футболен клуб Розова долина) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Kazanlak, Stara Zagora Province, currently playing in the South-East V AFG, the third level of Bulgarian football. Their home ground since 1968 has been Sevtopolis Stadium.

History

Formed in 1948 as DNA Kazanlak, a football club characterized by its trademark red and white jerseys. In the season 1982-1983 the team played in the highest division A grupa and relegated after finishing in 15th place.

I want to clarify that the team Rose Valley did not begin its inception in 1948 under the name DNA. In seasons 1947-48 and 1948-49, the team participated in the championship with the name Rose Valley. In 1949, the team is disbanded and formed two teams as "Voluntary sports organizations" (DSO) Torpedo and Dynamo. Torpedo there from 1949 to 1957 when he made reorganizations by DSO minute converted into "gymnasiums companies". Clubs are allowed to regain their old names. So Torpedo becomes Rose Valley in the spring of 1957 noted in the press of 04-04. To be exact Rose Valley kept successor to DVF (State military factory). The team existed from 1928 until 1947. From 1947 to 1949 the team plays under the name Rose Valley. From 1949 to 1957 he played with the name Torpedo and 1957 with the name Rose Valley - until now. Let's stop writing on websites and other media invented stories about the beginning of the club. All this is studied from archival documents and described in the book "History of football in Kazanlak" on which book I am one of the authors. There is no way team stems from 1948 under the name DNA, after participating in the league during that time by the name of Rose Valley. Origins of the club could easily lead 1928 (From the book "History of football in Kazanlak" authors Peter Sotirov and George Soyanov).

Mermekliev Era: 2016–present

on the 15 January 2016 alongside the return from winter brake, the team announced a new president of the club, the Bulgarian businessman Georgi Mermekliev. He announced that the ambitions of the team are going to be promotion in A Group in next few seasons, the club stadium to be renovated and upgraded to 12,000 seats, a new strong academy which is going to cooperate with other academies in Bulgaria and abroad. The team also started with new kit manufacturer - Legea.[1]
