Gloria LeRoy (born November 7, 1931) is an American character actress, remembered for having first played Bobbi Jo Loomis, the wife of Archie's old war buddy Duke, and later the voluptuous Mildred "Boom-Boom" Turner in the 1970s sitcom All in the Family.[1] LeRoy had a diverse career, with a number of roles on film, TV, and stage.[citation needed]
Biography
LeRoy was born in Bucyrus, Ohio. She had recurring roles on the soaps Passions and Days of Our Lives. She appeared in Three's Company as Nancy in episode "The Goodbye Guy" (1980), as well as on Married... with Children as Chesty LaRue in episode "Live Nude Peg" (1997).[citation needed]
In 2001, LeRoy appeared in season 8 episode 23 of Frasier entitled "A Day In May". She played Mrs. Smolenski, a prospective house buyer.[citation needed]
In 2009, LeRoy appeared in Season 5 of Desperate Housewives as Rose Kemper.[citation needed]
In 2010, LeRoy appeared in Shameless as Aunt Ginger.[citation needed]
