Harry Stein (boxer)

Harry Stein (born January 20, 1905 in Bytom, than East Prussia; date of death unknown, before 1948) was a German boxing champion in 1922 and 1923 in the flyweight division (- 51 kg).[1]
Stein appeared as himself in the 1930 film Liebe im Ring [Love in the Ring], along with the boxers Jose Santa, and Max Schmeling in the lead role as a boxer.[2]
Stein, of jewish origin, fled from Berlin to Prague in 1933, further 1945 to Moscow. Up to his death, he trained russian amateur boxers there.[3]
