Jappa (Urdu: جپه) is clan of Rajputs tribe living in the area of Chiniot & Okara District, Jhang District and Okara District. It is a warrior family and coming from the past era of Mughal emperors.

Etymology
Jappa is originated as a name of a tribe from the name of their forefather JAPPA a son of Jutt from (Rajpote) caste and their more population resides in Bhawana Tehsil. It is considered the warrior family of Jhang and Chiniot districts.
History
Jappas are named as [Rajpote]] also due to their origin as a sub cast on the name of their forefather . They are separated and become famous as a separate family on their special reputated abilities and features as new castes such as Jappa, Rajoka and some others.
