José Francisco Belman González (born 16 June 1971 in Málaga, Andalusia) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

Football career

After playing in his early years with former denominations of Málaga CF, Belman went on to represent Real Balompédica Linense, Real Zaragoza (with a stint in its B-side), Real Valladolid, Hércules CF, and C.D. Nacional. He was mostly used as a backup – for example, 30 of his 38 games with his last club came in his first season, when he helped the team promote to the Portuguese top division – his best input in La Liga being 11 games with Zaragoza in 1995–96 (all starts, 16 goals conceded), and he also appeared in two UEFA Cup Winners' Cup matches in that season with the Aragonese, the 1–2 quarterfinal aggregate loss against fellow league club Deportivo de La Coruña.

Shortly after retiring, Belman began working as a goalkeepers' coach: after two years with Real Madrid's under-19 he returned to his main club, Madeira's Nacional, in 2010.
