Las Cruces (Spanish pronunciation: [las kɾuˈses]) is a municipality in the northern Guatemalan department of El Petén. It is situated at 130 metres (430 ft) above sea level at Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.. The municipality was founded in 2011 when it split off from the territory of La Libertad.[1]
