Medieşu Aurit (Hungarian: Aranyosmeggyes, pronounced [ˈɒrɒɲoʃmɛɟːɛʃ], meaning "Place of the Golden Sour Cherry") is a commune of 7,299 residents in Satu Mare County, Romania. It is composed of seven villages:
