Michel Jureidini, a Lebanese guitarist from Beirut, was born in 1975.

Early life

At the age of 10 years, Jureidini started taking guitar lessons with Spanish teacher Emilio Conal. He later pursued his studies in music theory, harmony, and counterpoint with Dr. Nabil Jaafar.

In 1992, he graduated specializing in classical and flamenco guitar music. In Spain, he took a number of master classes with important flamenco guitarists.

In 1994, Jureidini started composing his own music. Four years later, he published his first book that consisted of both flamenco and classical guitar pieces.

In 2000, he produced his second book that included lessons for advanced guitar students. The renowned guitarist, José María Gallardo del Rey, signed his second book.

In 2004, he released his first album, El Mundo de Guitarra.

Currently, he teaches music at Mouseitbeh Adventist Secondary School (MASS). He also organizes its musical events and festivals.

He is a member of the Syndicate for Professional Musicians in Lebanon.

Jureidini, with a number of young guitarists, started a band called Pasión Gitana. They were considered the first band to have played flamenco music in Lebanon. The band performed a number of concerts all over Lebanon. Their most important concerts were those held in the Riad El-Solh area (attended by 3,000 spectators), in the Kaslik area (attended by 2,000 spectators), and at the Verdun 730 center.
