Molly Jong-Fast

Molly Jong-Fast (born August 19, 1978) is an American author. She wrote about her life as a girl in 1990s New York, a period in which she used drugs and alcohol heavily. In 1997 she underwent a substance abuse rehabilitation program at the Hazelden Foundation.[1]

She is the daughter of Erica Jong and Jonathan Fast, and the granddaughter of Howard Fast. She is the author of a novel, Normal Girl,[2] a memoir, Girl [Maladjusted], and The Social Climber's Handbook (published in 2011 by Random House).[3] She is married to Matthew Greenfield, an assistant professor of English.[4] They have three children.[5]
