Al-Hajj Murad Ebrahim (born 2 May 1948) is the current chairman of the southern Philippines' Islamist group, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. He is one of the key persons in the Bangsamoro Peace Process in the Philippines.[3][4]

On 14 March 2015, controversy on the nationality of Murad arose when Philippine former Interior Secretary Rafael Alunan accused him of being a citizen of Malaysia.[5][6] This allegation was denied by Malaysia and Murad himself proved he does possess a Philippine passport.[7][8]
