Nitharwal is a Jats found in Pakistan and Rajasthan, India. Ramesh Chandra Gunarthi in his book “Rajasthani Jatiyon ki khoj” (1977) has mentioned about the origin of this gotra. One of the sons of Amber ruler Kachwaha was Narsi who joined Jats. The descendants of Narsi are known as Nitharwal.
According to Mansukh Ranwa there is a village Nithara near Viratnagar in Jaipur district. The Jats of this village were called Nitharwal. NITHARWAL also known as MITHARWAL in some area's of Rajasthan. They have descended from Kachwaha vans. They migrated from village Nithara and founded village Hanspur Near Sri Madhopur ( Sikar, Rajasthan ). Later on they founded villages Bharni, Ringas, Sitarampur, Kotri LuharWas (Khandela), Dhani Balakan (Neem Ka Thana), Dhani ManoharKala(Neem Ka Thana), and Chala (Neem Ka Thana).
