On a wet day, with rain falling, we are standing around 400 yards from a level crossing on a wide but not busy road.  The crossing, protected by lifting barriers, is next to the former station, a building in red brick with stone Mullions.

between two ragged hedges is a 5-bar gate, and over the gate can be seen the house that was once the railway station, a find brick and stone building with a Welsh slate roof and many chimmenys scatteed around the roofs.

North Kelsey railway station was a station in North Kelsey, Lincolnshire, England, opened in 1848 and closed in 1965.[1][2]
