Richard Dale Roth is an American politician currently serving in the California State Senate. He is a Democrat representing the 31st district encompassing northwestern Riverside County, including the cities of Corona, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Moreno Valley, Norco, Perris and Riverside. He was elected on November 6, 2012. He was sworn into office in California’s State Capitol in Sacramento on Monday, December 3, 2012. Prior to being elected to the state senate, he was a major general in the United States Air Force.
