The UCD Law Review is an annual law journal edited by students of University College Dublin's Sutherland School of Law. The journal was established in 2001 by former UCD Law Society Auditor, Niall Buckley. The current editor-in-chief is Yvanne Kennedy. The UCD Law Review generally invite a prominent legal personality to write a foreword to introduce an issue and be present at an official "launch" ceremony. The review is not limited to the discussion of points of Irish law, but has published articles on a wide variety of legal issues.
The Review Prize
Each year an award of €500 is presented to the most outstanding article included in the journal. The winner of the Review Prize is announced and presented with their prize at the Review Launch.
