Yuri Masuda (益田 祐里 Masuda Yuri?, born February 22, 1977), known mononymously as yuri, is a Japanese singer who is the vocalist of the Japanese band m.o.v.e. She's credited as a solo artist for the Eurobeat song PARADISE, a song released before she joined m.o.v.e.[1]

History

Together with producer t-kimura (Takashi Kimura) and motsu (Mototaka Segawa ), the trio formed the band m.o.v.e in 1997. The trio are best known for the opening and closing themes of anime Initial D.[2]

On 2009 11 November, yuri made official announcement of her marriage and pregnancy on m.o.v.e's official website.[3][4][5]

Personal life

yuri gave birth to a girl in March 2010.[6][7]

yuri is the voice-sampler of Vocaloid, Lily, which was released on 25 August 2010. yuri's name literally means lily in Japanese.[8]
