1982–83 Isthmian League

The 1982–83 season was the 67th season of the Isthmian League, which is an English football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from London, East and South East England. League consisted of three divisions.

The Premier Division consisted of 22 clubs, including 20 clubs from the previous season and two new clubs, promoted from the First Division:

No teams were promoted to the Alliance Premier League this season.

At the end of the season Leytonstone & Ilford changed name into Leytonstone/Ilford.
