Clare Elizabeth Polkinghorne (born 1 February 1989 in Brisbane, Queensland[2]) is an Australian professional soccer player currently playing for the Brisbane Roar in the Australian W-League.

Career

For the 2014 season, Polkinghorne was loaned to Japan's INAC Kobe Leonessa.[3] She signed for Portland Thorns of the National Women's Soccer League after the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.[4]

Portland Thorns waived Polkinghorne in February 2016.[5]

Polkinghorne first represented the Australia women's national soccer team in 2006 and has played 26 matches, scoring two goals. She played one match at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup[6][7]
