Lärbro is a locality on the Swedish island of Gotland, with 963 inhabitants in 2014.[2] Formerly a socken, on 1 January 2016, it was reconstituted into the administrative area Lärbro District.[3]

Geography
Lärbro is the name of the small village surrounding the medieval Lärbro Church,[4] sometimes referred to as Lärbro kyrkby. The name is also used for the locality Lärbro, as well as the larger surrounding area, Lärbro socken. It is located in the north part of Gotland, approximately 8 km (5.0 mi) north of Slite.[5]
History
In 1921–60, Lärbro had a railway connection with Visby. The locality's main source of income is tourism.
