Little Mackinaw Township is located in Tazewell County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,575 and it contained 678 housing units.[1]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.4 square miles (94 km2), of which 36.38 square miles (94.2 km2) (or 99.95%) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) (or 0.03%) is water.[1]
