Nantwich railway station, which was opened on 2 September 1858, serves the town of Nantwich in Cheshire, and is on the Crewe to Shrewsbury line. It has two platforms and was formerly the junction for the Great Western Railway route to Wellington via Market Drayton until 1963.

Services

The station is served both by the two-hourly Crewe to Shrewsbury stopping trains and some longer distance workings between Manchester Piccadilly and Cardiff Central (with some extensions further west to Swansea and Carmarthen) on Mondays to Saturdays.[1]

There is an infrequent service (five trains each way) on Sundays.
