Yoo Ji-ae (Hangul: 유지애; hanja: 劉智愛; born May 21, 1993),[1] most often credited as Jiae, is a South Korean singer. She made her debut as a solo artist with the single "Delight" in April 2013,[2] and has been a member of South Korean girl group Lovelyz since November 2014.[3]

Biography
Jiae was born on May 21, 1993 in Seoul, South Korea. Her family consists of her father, mother, grandmother and an older sister.[4] As a young girl, she dreamed of being a singer, watching performances of South Korean girl group S.E.S. and Fin.K.L.[5]
She attended School of Performing Arts Seoul as Theatre & Film major and graduated in February 2012.[6]
Career
Pre-debut
In 2010, Jiae made her first appearance as Infinite's younger sister in their pre-debut reality show Infinite! You're My Oppa.[7]The same year, she made a brief cameo in the Korean TV series Master of Study. She also played a cameo role on Running Man in 2012 as one of the high school girls in the zombie-themed episode (episode 98) with Seunghee and Yeonkyung who later became members of girl group F-ve Dolls of Core Contents Media.[8]
Solo debut
In April 2013, Jiae made her official solo debut with a digital single "Delight".[9] The single ranked at #58 for Gaon Chart's weekly chart for 18th week of 2013.[10]
Lovelyz

On November 13, 2014, Jiae made her first appearance on M! Countdown as a member of Lovelyz.[11]
