Expelled from the EFL

  1. Wigan Athletic were deducted 12 points by the EFL for entering administration. The club appealed against the decision, and it was confirmed on 4 August 2020 that it had not been upheld. Therefore, Wigan will not be reprieved from relegation.[2][3]
