Sir Arnold Stanley Vincent Burgen, FRS (born 20 March 1922) was Master of Darwin College, Cambridge[1] 1982-89 (Hon. Fellow, 1989), Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Cambridge University, 1985–89, and founding President of the Academia Europæa.
He is married to Olga Kennard.
