The following is a list of missions that have aired on Running Man in 2013 (episode 127-178) in chronological order. Missions that have been modified or which are played during another mission are grouped together. For other details, please refer to the List of Running Man episodes article.[1]

List of missions

Road races/Themed races

These missions are variants of the race missions, which involve travelling through a city and between destinations to complete missions. Later episodes moved away from the "race mission + other missions" format and entire episodes became a race with missions during the race. Some episodes would feature special themes that form the race.

As 2013 is the Year of the Snake, the member who chooses the snake plays an important role. Teams travel to the first mission venue (Wahyeon Beach), and must piggyback the queen of the other team to a turning point and back in relay. The winning team of each mission receives a hint to who chose the snake card. Teams travel to the next mission venue (Kujora Village), there they must designate one member from each team as the "Yogourt Queen" and dress like a yogourt ajumma (a lady who sells yogourt). Throughout the village, there are citizens dressed like yogourt ajummas as well (like former Find the Guests missions). Each team must find the Yogourt Queen of the other team and take her hat off, but must first finish a yogourt and toss the bottle into a garbage can. Teams travel to the next mission venue (Dongbu Elementary School, Yulpo Annex), and play Queen Dodgeball, where the queen of the other team must be hit by the ball to win, best of three rounds. The last surviving male member is invicible and must protect the queen. Teams travel to the final mission venue (Jangsado Sea Park), and teams have one hour to find and eliminate the snake if in the other team, or protect the snake if in their team. The emissaries travel to Old Seoul City Hall in search for the keys to the treasure chest. Each emissary is given the location of one key. Specify hints are also given to each emissary in City Hall. Members who are eliminated must give their key to the member who eliminated them, and are held in individual jails. The last surviving emissary will have received all seven keys and open the treasure chest. However, the treasure chest turns out to be empty. Time flies to 2013, the New Seoul City Hall has been built and is connected to the Old City Hall by a bridge. All emissaries have been reincarnated, and that final surviving emissary from 1938 still has all seven keys to the real treasure chest. However, each emissary has been reincarnated as another person. Therefore, they do not know who they were in their previous life. Because each member was held in individual jails, they do not know of the outcome in 1938. The same hints that were given in 1938 are given to the reincarnated member in 2013. Members must find who the final surviving emissary was, and who they have been reincarnated as today, to retrieve the keys which the location is given behind their name tag. However, the location of the real treasure chest is only known by the one person who reincarnated as themself. That emissary was given the opportunity to hide the real treasure chest in 1938. Notes

  1. The Mission Team and Chasing Team swap roles every ten minutes until all members of the opposing team are eliminated.
  2. Gary and Song Ji-hyo are spies of the opposing team.
  3. The real siblings (Mission Team) is unknown and wins by finding each other and placing their name tags on the "DNA Verification Station". The rest of the members (Chasing Team) must eliminates the siblings, and whoever places their name tags on the "DNA Verification Station" wins. Members may eliminate each other if they believe they are the siblings.
  4. The chaser is the single member without a partner from the lottery. The couples are eliminated if their paper handcuffs are broken. The chaser cannot be eliminated, but is paused instead when their name tag is taken.
  5. The Traitors Club cannot eliminate the detectives.
  6. The male members cannot take off name tags. If a name tag of a male member is taken by a kumiho, he is bewitched and becomes a part of her team. One tail is given to the kumiho who eliminates a kumiho.
  7. The episode start with the Running Man members already being ranked from 1 to 7, according to their debutant in the entertainment industry. After several games played, the final ranking was determined and they all get gold coins depending on their ranking on each round. All of them went in a pirate ship, only to be robbed with all their gold coins by the pirates. They stayed there over night since they were also kidnapped. Next morning, the pirates (Shinhwa) appeared.
  8. One member of each team is unknowingly "forever immortal", who cannot be eliminated. In order to eliminate the immortal member, teams must find who the "immortal" member is of the other team, taking a designated item of theirs to a certain location, place the item in a pot and shout a spell. This will grant a golden glove, which can be used to eliminate the immortal member of the other team. Then the name tags of both immortal members must be brought to a treasure chest, then shout another spell, which will break the Curse of "Get" Pearl.
  9. Members can eliminate each other, and two members must be eliminated each time to open a gate. Therefore at the final gate, only two members will be remaining to save Dorothy and eliminate the wizard.
  10. Although this was not broadcast, judging by what Kai said, and a scene which is possibly in jail, we can determine that Haha got eliminated.
  11. The member with the most votes becomes the target to be eliminated, going in order from most to least votes received. If their designated whistle is found and blown, their order moves to the end.
