Love Is the Reason is a 1990 compilation album by singer Engelbert Humperdinck.

Background

This album was compiled by Critique Records for the US market. Tracks were from the German albums Remember - I Love You and Zärtlichkeiten plus 1 new song, a cover of "Wrap Your Arms Around Me," which had been a big hit in Europe for former ABBA star Agnetha Fältskog.

Love Is the Reason is the name of the 1987 song from Remember - I Love You on which Gloria Gaynor duets with Engelbert.

Release

Critique released the album in the US in 1990 in both LP and CD formats. The remastered DM Records CD re-issue of April 24, 2001 [1] had significantly different running times.
