The Dance Album is the 35th studio album by singer Engelbert Humperdinck, released in 1998.

Background

This was an album containing remixes of 6 old hits, 5 new songs, and 4 alternate mixes (as bonus tracks), all done in a modern, electronic dance style. It was produced by the Thunderpuss team of Chris Cox and Barry Harris.

Release

The Dance Album was released in the US by Interhit Records on October 27, 1998.[1] It was released worldwide under various labels that same year.[2] On February 13, 2006 the EQ label released The Dance Album [Bonus Tracks], which added a second CD containing 5 alternate mixes of "Quando Quando Quando" and 5 alternate mixes of "Release Me/Gotta Get Release."[3]
