The 1900–01 season was the second season for FC Barcelona.

Events

On November 18, 1900 Barcelona going to play in a campo Casanovas. The first match is against Hispania (0-0).

On December 23, 1900 Barcelona faces for the first time the Spanish Football Society, which later became the Espanyol. The match ended with no goals in an atmosphere of absolute camaraderie. Barcelona played without the foreign players.

Alfonso Macaya, honorary president of the Hispania offers a silver cup to the winner of a tournament, the Copa Macaya I. The Barcelona participated and ended seconds, but only lost one match.

Bartomeu Terrades succeeds Walter Wild as president since April 25, 1901.
