The 1909–10 season was the 11th season for FC Barcelona.

Events

In a full season of successes, the Barcelona earns the Championship of Catalonia (without losing no point), the Cup of the Oriental Pyrenees (an international competition among southern, Catalonian, and Basque teams of France) and, for the first time, the title of Champion of Spain. In the end, disputed in Madrid, surpasses al Spanish of Madrid for 3-2, still losing 0-2 in the rest. The players are received effusively in Barcelona. October 14, 1909 Gamper leaves the presidency in the hands of Otto Gmelin but continues united al Club as the treasurer. The Barcelona each time has less foreign players and in the meeting only they remain two: Gamper and Witty.
