Whalley Range is an inner-city area of Blackburn in Lancashire. The area is a community with almost all residents being from India or Pakistan. Houses in the area are predominantly terraced and go up on a hill in a typical Pennine mill town style. Whalley Range attracts visitors from all over the UK. [1] Whalley Range is currently undergoing an urban regeneration programme to gentrify and modernise the area, the planning agency BDP have said that fashion could form a key theme to market the area.[2]
