The Direction Nationale du Renseignement et des Enquêtes Douanières (DNRED) (English:National Directorate of the Intelligence and Customs Investigations) is a French intelligence agency that has the task to carry out investigations on smuggling, counterfeit money, and any customs fraud, for the Direction Générale des Douanes et Droits Indirects.[1] In 2009, the DNRED created a new unit, called "Cyberdouane", which role is to fight against cyber trafficking, such as illegal online gambling, money-laundering with online Casinos, the sale of illegal products online (drugs, counterfeit products, weapons,...).[2]
