Edgar Hocedez

Edgar Hocedez SJ (1 July 1877 – 1948) was a Belgian Roman Catholic priest and theologian.

Biography

Born in Ghent, he entered the Society of Jesus in 1895. Hocedez was professor of theology in Kurseong (India; 1908–12), in Hastings (1914–19), in Louvain (1912–14, 1919–39) and in Rome (1928–40).

He died in Fayt-lez-Manage.
